Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the plumbing and heating services provided by Probe Plumbing & Heating across St Albans, Hertfordshire, and North London.

1. Quotations and estimates

All initial quotations are free and provided with no obligation unless a diagnostic inspection is specifically agreed upon. Work scope and pricing are confirmed clearly with the customer before any chargeable work commences.

2. Service delivery and scheduling

Appointments are arranged by mutual agreement. While we make every effort to arrive punctually, times may occasionally need adjusting due to emergency callouts, extreme traffic, or unforeseen technical complications.

3. Payment terms

Payment terms are detailed on all quotations and invoices. For larger installation projects (e.g. boiler installations or full heating replacements), a deposit for materials may be required prior to commencement.

4. Guarantees and warranties

New boiler installations are supported by manufacturer warranties (typically ranging from 5 to 10+ years depending on the brand and model). Workmanship guarantees are provided in writing for completed installations and repairs.

5. Gas Safe compliance

All gas work is carried out strictly in accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations by our Gas Safe Registered engineer (Registration No. 960945).
